On February 1, Eric Douglas will be returning to Russia to revisit a project he worked on as a  freelance journalist, photographing the people of Russia.  Eric spent about 6 months in Russia from 1993 to 1995 and published a number of articles and images, as well as a photographic exhibit of the work. You can see some of those images on his website at http://www.booksbyeric.com/russia.htm and on this web site at http://www.rwvf.net/Culture/BW%20PhotosFrm.htm.  He has used the images on his website to help him track down some of the people he met 15 years ago. He has also just posted a blog, and some of the same images, on my MySpace site at: http://www.myspace.com/booksbyeric.

Assuming Eric can get internet access, he plans to regularly update his MySpace blog with notes from the road and will also send those notes out as a regular email.
