Dave McChesney Visits Korolev and Kazan

From March 23, 2007 to April 13, 2007 Dave McChesney, Vice-President of the Russia-West Virginia Foundation visited Russia.  During his visit, Dave stayed with the Posasin family in Korolev, visited the Russia School, School No. 7, School No. 12 and the Korolev Institute of Management, Economics and Sociology.  The purpose of these visits was to re-develop exchange programs for high school age students and college students and faculty.  Tatyana Sementsova and Nadia Kochkareva coordinated Dave's activities during his time in Korolev.   Additionally, Dave studied Russian and now can say he knows more Russian than Charlie, the Posasin’s parrot.

Dave traveled to Kazan where he was hosted by the Academy of Management (TISBI).  Leyla  Drovnikova, Director of International Programs, coordinated his stay.  During Dave’s stay (March 27 * April 2), he worked on the goals of developing high school and college exchanges as well as experiencing the culture of Kazan.
